Fung Keong – true pioneer in the rubber industry

THE TRUE PIONEER IN RUBBER INDUSTRY

The first Fung Keong Rubber Manufactory was established in the year 1921 by Mr. Fung Keong in Honan, Canton, China. In 1925 a branch factory was opened in Shaukiwan, Hong Kong.

The Fung Keong factory in Malaysia (established in 1939) is situated at 1st Mile, Kapar Road, Klang, Selangor. It covers an area of 33 acres of which 400,000 sq. ft. is devoted to the manufacturing section alone. At present it employs about 1,800 workers of all nationalities.

Fung Keong products include various types of canvas and rubber footwear, tyres and tubes for trucks, motor cars, motor cycles, scooters and bicycles. They also come out with other miscellaneous rubber goods for mining industrial, laboratory and domestic uses. It is in fact the most comprehensive rubber manufacturing factory in Malaysia whose products range from rubber washers to giant truck tyres.

Fung Keong rubber products have always received excellent support both at home and overseas markets in more than 40 countries.
