49 Boyd, Kaye & Company
Our article, Tse Tsan Tai, 謝纘泰, co-founder of the South China Morning Post and…, mentions that in 1890 Tse joined the Public Works Department [in Hong Kong] leaving in 1900 to become compradore of Boyd Kaye & a Co., an import-export firm.
I have been unable to access any information about Boyd, Kaye & Company in Hong Kong and wonder if anyone can help unearth some details about its origin and history here.
Gwulo.com has a couple of employees of Boyd, Kaye in Hong Kong. https://gwulo.com/search/node/boyd%2C%20kaye
The only reference I can currently find online to the Bromoform mentioned below is a product produced by TCI [aka Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd?]( Shanghai) Development Co.Ltd, Hong Kong.
