HF: The article, I-Feng Enamelling Company and Freezinhot Bottle Co., Ltd. includes: In 1937, after buying the assets of Keung Hwa Aluminium and Enamelling Company, Mr. Dung Ji-fu founded I-Feng Enamelling Company in Hong Kong to sell aluminium and enamel ware.

York Lo adds: I believe the English name of Keung Hwa should be “China Klinwares Manufacturing Co”. Dung Ji-fu should also be Tung Chi-fu.

Tung was originally a jeweler in Soochow and got into this enamelware when he took Guangda in 1921 and Guangda was founded 2 years prior.

According to link below, (Chinese only), which has the most comprehensive details about the enamelware industry in Shanghai (many of these proprietors moved to HK after 1949) during the Republican China era, it appears that Keung Hwa was also in Shanghai and founded in 1933.

I have some small knives with the name Russell&Co. They are not sterling. Would they have been made by this company? The date is 1884.
